Got it going.. Took long enough, turns out it was a UAE issue. It doesn't
open any ports to the outside world unless you do a few things, one is allow
it to open the ports through a general button, and two edit the config file
to tell it to redirect ports from the host computer. So.. What I have to do
is port 6400 to 23 on my router, so when you log on you may be connecting
to port 6400 but the BBS thinks it is 23. So... That's where we stand the BBS
although the Grand Opening date won't be until 10/1/18 will be up and down
until then but if you want to log on you can do so.. Can't guarantee that the
user list won't be purged but you can log on.. Next step is just plain old
testing to make sure telnetd is working properly and the BBS is working.
