Ok try to reverse DTR if possible, not sure if DS2 has a switch for it, the
reason it answers and then doesn't do anything is it needs the DTR reversed,
I went through this with Image at first, when I first got it running in
WinVice, I tried with the basic setup, DTR (regular) DTR hangup, TCPSER with
no modem string. It would answer, but never connect then hang up, when i
reversed DTR, it answered and connected. Then when I tried to log off it
wouldn't drop carrier, so I tried escape codes and that dropped carrier. So,
I was able to get it running within a couple of hours.. Now I am working on a
documentation file which is about 2 hours from completion and since it is
9:00PM here and I have to be at work in the morning, I won't be able to
finish it until tomorrow, when I do I will put it on Facebook in my BBS page.
You should be able to use the files I use now (BBS Server and VSPE (virtual
serialport emulator) ) which might give you a bit more functionality for
DS2.. It's got a few more switches that might help out getting you going.. I
should have it ready tomorrow evening.. Hopefully, it will help...
