There are 13 year olds who can keep up with me, and going by age grading
tables, a 13 year old of equivalent ability to me should be only slightly
slower than me.  But 13 is a particular tricky age, because kids develop at
such different rates - the fast ones are always someone who has an early growth
spurt.
