Our experience here is that 3 works almost as effectively as 4, and we'll be
sitting at 3 for at least another 4 weeks, when a review is due.  2 weeks ago,
the state government were talking about going to level 4, but now don't see the
necessity, because the number of new cases has fallen sharply.  Now, the
national focus is on preparing for coming out of the tight restrictions by
beefing up contact tracing and widening testing as far as possible, and making
sure that localised lockdowns can be implemented to manage local outbreaks.
All this work is being done before any restrictions will be eased.

And on the news this morning, the NZ Deputy PM was on the news talking about
the possible of a "travel bubble" between Australia and NZ, once both sides
have their infections under control.

Here in Victoria, we've had only around 1300 infections total and of those,
close to 1150 have recovered, so there's only about 150 active cases in the
state.
