Regardless of your affinity for TayTay, a bit of interesting activity took place today.  Taylor has vowed to re-record all 6 of her original albums, the masters of which are owned by her hated nemisis (with links to Kanye) Scooter Braun.

After failing to buy out the catalog 2 seperate times, she is now recording and releasing the re-recordings.  So when you search Spotify for one of her earlier albums, two matches will come up, the original and "Taylor's Version."  She keeps all the revenue from the latter.

The first release is Love Story, and the reviews are positive.  Taylor didn't change the arrangement at all, the only difference is the improved fidelity of a modern mix, and the maturity of her voice coming thru in the vocals.

Even if your not a fan of my girl Taylor, comparing the two releases is interesting... and it will be fun to see if her strategy pays off.
