Hi Dave,

DD> Well, it was a small cancer. And squamous cell (slow growing) rather
DD> than a melanoma.

RH> Mine was DCIS--Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (IOW, in a milk duct). I have
RH> to make sure I get the annual check up. Reason it was caught at an
RH> early stage was that I'd put off my annual check up for 6 months, due
RH> to moving from HI to GA. Steve had an appointment at the Fort Stewart

DD> Learned something (re-learned, actually) when reading about cancer.
DD> Men can develop breast cancer even though they can't give milk.

Yes, that's something I learned quite some time ago.

DD> cylinders?
DD> I keep on in the passenger side of my car. But, at 3 L flow setting
DD> it's good for more than an hour. And around home I'm on the floor
DD> standing  conventrator.

DD>      8<----- EDIT ----->8

RH> Some years ago we headed over to this place after working all day at a
RH> sewing/quilting expo. It was crowded and loud; I wanted someplace quiet
RH> so we ended up elsewhwere.

DD> As long as the food didn't send you to St. Elsewhere.  Bv)=

RH> No, it didn't. I needed the quietness after 3 full days of working the
RH> expo so even tho the food wasn't quite what we'd wanted to get, having
RH> the calmer atmosphere was worth it.

DD> Just a chance to relax and eat something to hold you until you get
DD> home. Restaurantss/cafes are, to me, more social places. If the food
DD> is good, that's a bonus.

It was ok, not great, but it filled the need for something quiet.

DD>       Title: Charlie Parker's Diner Breakfast Horseshoe
DD>  Categories: Pork, Breads, Cheese, Sauces, Potatoes
DD>       Yield: 1 Serving

DD>       1    English Muffin
DD>       2 lg Eggs; cooked as desired
DD>       4 sl Thick-cut bacon
DD>       6 oz Cheese sauce
DD>       6 oz Sausage gravy
DD>      12 oz Shredded hash browns

DD>   UDD Notes: I've et this critter. It's good. But, there
DD>   are better (I think) breakfast shoes in Springfield.
DD>   Nearly every breakfast joint around here has a version.
DD>   The secret (if there is one) is in the cheese sauce and
DD>   especially the sausage gravy.

I don't know if I could eat all of this in one sitting. I'd probably be
able to eat about half of it; does anybody do a smaller version?
