I can because I don't have to "spend the energy" to keep them after
making them. It costs $$ to run the freezer, a jar sitting on the shelf
costs nothing to keep.

From the fig tree Steve planted in our side yard some years ago. It took
several years to produce any, then just got a handful or so for a couple
of years but is now the size to put out a good amount every year.
