1 ga Apple cider
2 qt Apricot nectar
3 c Dark rum
1 1/2 c Brown sugar; firm pack
1/4 c Lemon juice
6 (3") sticks cinnamon
3 Oranges
1 1/2 ts Whole cloves
Cinnamon sticks to add to
- reveler's glasses (opt)
Combine cider, nectar, rum, brown sugar, lemon juice,
and cinnamon sticks in a large, heavy bottomed stock
pot.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered,
for one hour. Stud oranges with cloves, and add to
cider mixture.
Serve hot.
Yields: 1 1/2 gallons
