Hi Shawn,
RH> Thanks, some years flew past, others crept but each one has had its
RH> high and low points. We went out to one of our fvorite seafood places
RH> for supper for a quiet celebration.
SH> That sounds nice.
It was nice, now we're planning an extended celebration for next year.
RH> Made it to the campgroud without incident but when we got to our site
RH> and pulled in, he noticed one tire on the camper worn down to enough
RH> that the belt was showing thru. That got changed before we even set
RH> up camp; now we're set up and spending a quiet afternoon. Out for
RH> supper tonight with some of the other radio folks that checked in
RH> early. The rally officially starts tomorrow.
SH> Good catch, that would have been horrible to have a blow out on your
SH> way home.
It probably wouldn't have lasted even 10 more miles. Steve got it
replaced yesterday, decided to check the 2 tires that were still
original with the camper purchase last year. Found one starting to show
a bulge so decided to replace both of those tires. Less than 10,000
miles on them so he's going to contact the NTSB about issuing a recall.
RH> It's a good size for one or two people, down side is the crawl over
RH> bed. Steve (among other modifications) made the sofa into a pull
out RH> use if he didn't want to do the crawl over.
SH> Yes, that's the issue we had with our smaller trailer as well, the
SH> crawl over gets old fast. We have a nice sofa in the living room now
SH> that is normally where Andrea ends up sleeping becuase she likes
SH> watching
SH> TV in bed.
RH> How's your supply of bubble gum, barb wire, duct tape and bailing
RH> twine? (G)
SH> Running out fast! LOL
Time to add some super glue to the mix?
RH> the 12th vertibrate--explains why I've had back pains the last few
RH> years. I can do so much, then I have to stop for a bit to rest it
RH> before continuing.
SH> I'm on week 6 now of not being able to walk or stand very long, it's
SH> not at all fun. I would swear my leg is broken and I'm walking on it
SH> based on the sounds it makes.
And you've not gone to get it checked out yet? The longer you wait, the
worse the damages (to the leg and your pocketbook) are going to be.

Catch you later,
Ruth
