2 c Water
1/2 c Onion; chopped
1/2 c Celery; chopped
1/2 c Potato; diced
1 c Corn; fresh or canned
1/2 c Parsley
4 c Milk
1 ts Salt
1 pn Garlic
1 pn Nutmeg
Saute vegetables, except corn. Add water and boil. Add corn and
spices, and simmer. Add milk, bring to short boil.
Fish Chowder:
If cycling through lake country or by the sea, throw the freshest
catch into the pot!
