MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Caramel Glaze
Categories: Icing
     Yield: 1 Batch

     4 tb Unsalted butter
   1/4 c  Light brown sugar; packed
   1/4 c  Granulated sugar
     1 pn Salt
   1/2 c  Whipping cream
     1 ts Vanilla extract

 Melt the butter in a medium, heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add the
 brown sugar, granulated sugar and salt. Stir until smooth and cook
 for 2 minutes. Stir in the cream, bring to a boil and cook until the
 glaze thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon, about 5 minutes.
 Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Slowly pour the
 glaze over the cooled cake.
