1 c White sugar
3 tb Cocoa
3 tb Corn starch
1/4 ts Salt
1 c Boiling water
1 ts Vanilla
1 tb Butter
Shredded coconut; if desired
Sift sugar, cocoa, corn starch and salt into a saucepan. Mix
throroughly. Gradually stir in boiling water. Stir over high heat,
stirring all the time, until icing thickens. Remove from heat, add
vanilla and butter, and stir well. When still slightly warm, spread
on cake. Cover with shredded coconut, if desired.
