The first thing i noticed about kale chips in the health food store was the price tag.  At that time they were going for between $6 to $8 for a small bag that would cost under $1 if they were potato chips.  They don't cost that much
to make at home.  I prefer to use a seasoning blend such as "Cajun" salt.

     Title: Baked Kale Chips
Categories: Snacks, Vegetables
     Yield: 2 Servings

1 bn (about 6 oz) kale
     1 tb Olive oil
          Sea salt; to taste

Preheat oven to 300 F. Rinse and dry the kale, then remove the stems
and tough center ribs. Cut into large pieces, toss with olive oil in
a bowl then sprinkle with salt. Arrange leaves in a single layer on a
large baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, or until crisp. Half-way
through, use a spatula to stir and flip the chips. It doesn't have to
be perfect, it is okay to miss a few. Place baking sheet on a rack to
 cool.
