01 November 1765 - NEW BRITISH TAX IS 'TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION'

Boston throws a Tea Party! The new tax forces colonists in British America
to pay a fee on legal documents and other papers to help fund British
forces in North America. Colonists vehemently oppose the tax, organizing
a resistance that will presage the American Revolution.
