Hi Shawn,

RH> Sounds good, we've got a brisket on the smoker right now. Got it on a
RH> good mark down the other day as it was approaching the last day of
RH> sale.

SH> Nice!  We found some beef roasts on sale the other day and got 2.
SH> (Limit of 2 per person) Had one and it was good!

How did you fix it? I like to put a roast in the crock pot, add onions
and mushrooms and let it cook on low all day. Falling apart tender and
tastes yummy.

RH> Working on it, saw the doctor today. I can now flex it more, working my
RH> way back to a full flex over the next few weeks. Hand is also
RH> improving; I'm not wearing the splint unless in a situation where it's
RH> needed for support. Knee immobiliser for a couple more weeks when out,
RH> then I can go without it if I'm cautious about my footing/surroundings.

SH> Good.  At least this is positive!  I did something and can't walk or
SH> stand for more then a few minutes.  Doctor ran some tests and I'm
SH> losing blood somewhere so on Iron pills and have an ultrasound next
SH> week to see if they can find where the missing blood is going.  He
SH> wasn't overly
SH> concerned so I won't worry about it yet either.

That doesn't sound good, hopefully the ultrasound will give you some
definative answers. I'm doing a bit more work around the house, trying
not to stress the hand much (right hand, but I'm left handed). But, at
the end of the day, it's hurting--amazing how much you use a hand, even
when trying not to.
