September 15 - National Creme de Menthe Day

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Evergreen Mint Punch
Categories: Five, Beverages, I scream, Booze, Candy
     Yield: 8 Servings

   1/2 ga Vanilla ice cream; softened
          - + more for scoops
     4 c  Milk
     1 c  Green creme de menthe
          Candy canes (opt - garnish)

 In a punch bowl, combine 1/2 gallon ice cream, milk, and
 creme de menthe; stir until it reaches a pourable
 consistency.

 Make scoops of vanilla ice cream and float on punch.

 Serve immediately, garnished with Candy Canes, if desired.

 Makes 8 servings
