Dunno if you'll have a need for it...but years ago I bought 2 50lb
bags of dog food that were infested.  I'd taken them home and put
them into a large plastic trash can before I discovered it, took a
week or so for the bugs to show.  What I did was go buy some dry ice,
harder to find back in those days.  Tossed it in on top of the dog
food and put the lid on.  The carbon dioxide is heavier than air so
it settled and pushed the air out the top of the can.  Nothing for
the bugs to breath.  My main concern was accidently knocking off the
cat with any excess gas.
