Hi Shawn,
RH> Time was, and not so long ago, that I'd never consider such a thing.
RH> But, the older I get, the more I'm trying things like this.
SH> I just want easy to prepair things for after work when I really don't
SH> want to do much.
I don't work outside the home but when I'm not feeling good or working
on a big project, I don't want to fuss a lot with meals. Also, in the
summer I'd rather cook/eat lighter than I do in the winter.
Kristina made butter chicken last night and brought
SH> some up for us, so I just made a bit of rice to put under it and it
SH> was quite good. She's getting good!
That sounds good! There used to be an Indian restaurant not too far from
us down in Raleigh but they either moved or closed & we've not yet found
a replacement.
RH> tackle the baby quilt this week, promised a friend I'd teach her to sew
RH> in a couple of weeks.
SH> That's nice of you. I /almost/ remember how from grade 7 home ec. I
SH> could do it in a pinch and it wouldn't be pretty.
I had it in 8th grade home ec, almost failed it. There was only one
store in our town that sold fabric; my mom bought some that would fray
if you looked at it cross eyed. I didn't finish my project, got a bare
minimum passing grade. Before and after that, I've been a hand sewer,
started playing around with a machine in college. Got one for a wedding
present and took off from there.

Catch you later,
