Indeed. My brain knew that but my fingers have a mind of their

You can add Olds and Buick to that list. Probably plenty more if I
think about it as bit.

This is very much like the old Cornish lamb, apple and onion
pie recipe from my Cornish great aunt Ellen. This one is also a bit
vague on the spicing!

     Title: Pork and Apple Pie
Categories: British, Heirloom, Pork, Fruit
     Yield: 4 Servings

   3/4 lb Pork
   1/2 lb Apples
     2 md Onions
     1 lb Mashed potatoes
          A little stock or water
          Seasoning to taste

 Cut pork into small pieces. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. If sage
 is liked sprinkle over two teaspoonfuls. Slice apple and onion
 thinly. Place a layer of pork in pie dish with a layer of apple
 and onion on top and continue until all is used. Pour in a little
 stock or water and cover with a crust of mashed potato. Bake in a
 moderate oven for about an hour.
