Hello Everybody,

As we the people own this country, we the people also own this echo.
Collectively. That means that no individual has an exclusive right to
claim sole ownership of this echo, or to impose his own set of rules
(whatever they may be) on everybody else.

Of course, anybody can pretend to be "moderator" of this echo. Or
any other echo in Fidonet. Given the structure of Fidonet, there can
be no "moderators" in Fidonet, so the idea itself is absurd.

As such, this message is not a personal attack on Sean Dennis, or any
other individual in this echo - or any other individual in Fidonet.

Who are "we the people" of this echo? All participants (and also
lurkers). So here are the real rules for this echo -

Rules of the COOKING echo

Any student of COOKING should already know the
Rules by heart.  There are two Rules of COOKING.
They are:

1. There are no Rules.

2. See Rule number 1.

If anyone ever tells you that there is a certain
formula for COOKING or a definite method of engaging
in COOKING, then that person does not know about
COOKING.  In that case, just assume that he/she/it
does not know what he/she/it is talking about.
