Hi Shawn,

RH> I've not been active for a couple of weeks--did a church mission trip
RH> to Vermont and have been fighting bronchitis since before we left.

SH> Oh no!  Hope you get it under control quickly!

Working on my second round of antibiotics and prednisone. A 5 day cycle
of both knocked the bronchitis down, but not out and an busy schedule in
VT just allowed it to stay settled in.

RH> We're home now, not planning on any travels for a couple of months.

SH> Time for a rest!

Very much so! Much as I hate to do it, I'm giving up activly
participating in our church's VBS next week. I'm assembling the craft
kits at home, will send them in with Steve each night for someone else
to supervise. They're all ones that can be done in 15 minutes or less,
only one requiring glue (sticks).

RH> While in Vermont, we picked up a gallon of robust maple syrup, a pound
RH> of maple sugar and a 3 pound block of Seriously Sharp Cabot Cheddar
RH> Cheese. We also enjoyed several maple creemees. (G)

SH> Yum yum and yum!

Very much so! The place where we went for creemees the first night had
sizes ranging from baby to toddler to small to medium to large (number
of twists on a cone). Steve and I both went for smalls, should have gone
for the toddler or baby as the smalls had about 5 twists. They were
good, but glad we didn't get the larger size. The other ones we got were
more reasonalby sized. A maple creemee, BTW, is soft serve (usually
vanilla) ice cream with maple syrup mixed in. Some places are better
than others, depends on the % of fat in the milk and grade/amount of
maple syrup used. It's a goodie we look forward to on our mission trips
to VT.

We do a VBS in a city park (rain plan is a middle school, used once on
this trip) in Waterbury, VT. Waterbury is home to Ben and Jerry's ice
cream (we've yet to, in 5 trips, tour the plant) and Green Mountain
coffee. They also have a Cabot cheese outlet store and a Lake Champlain
chocolate outlet. We did stop at the latter also, and got a bit over a
pound of assorted seconds (dark, caramel, mint and one other) to bring
home. That should hold us for a bit. (G)

Catch you later,
