I don't use Chrome as such. But I do use Opera, its main variant, quite
a bit. I have Edge and the best thing I can say about it is that it's
nicer than Outlook Express.

And I used it for many years until it began to break consistently on
something I used quite a bit .... I forget now just what it was but I
checked out FireFox again and my former quibble had been handled. So
it's now my main browser.

I really miss Netscape ... which morphed into the Mozilla line of web
products.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Grand Operas, Nuts
Categories: Candies, Chocolate, Dairy, Nuts
     Yield: 12 Servings

     2 c  Sugar
   2/3 c  Heavy cream
     1 c  Milk
   1/4 c  Corn syrup
   1/4 ts Salt
   1/2 ts Vanilla extract
     1 c  Pecan meats, broken
     4 oz Semi-sweet chocolate

In heavy sauce pan, combine sugar, cream, syrup, and salt.

Heat until sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a
boil, stirring constantly. Continue cooking until candy
forms a soft ball in cold water. Remove from heat and add
vanilla and nuts. Beat until candy thickens and loses its
 gloss.

Turn at once into a buttered square or rectangular pan.

Heat chocolate in top of double boiler until partly
melted. Remove from heat and stir rapidly until entirely
melted. Pour chocolate over candy. Cool until firm and cut
 into individual squares.
