If XXCarol's jog jam ever breaks the packet I posted yeaterday morning
will fall in unexpectedly. When it hadn't got to Doc's by last evening
I thought I had forgotten to send it. So I logged on to Shenk's Express
and uploaded the thing .... which got a bunch of "You've posted too many
times today" messages. So I know I had actually sent it when I thought
I did. <SHRUG> Fido is a funny pup.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Dog Pooch Munchies
Categories: Breads, Pork, Cheese, Eggs
     Yield: 6 Servings

     3 c  Whole wheat flour
     1 ts Garlic salt
   1/2 c  Soft bacon fat
     1 c  Shredded cheese
     1 lg Egg; beaten slightly
     1 c  Milk

 Set oven @ 400ºF/205ºC.

 Place flour and garlic salt in a large bowl. Stir in bacon
 fat. Add cheese and egg. Gradually add enough milk to form a
 dough. Knead dough and roll out to about 1" thick.

 Use dog bone cookie cutter to cut out dough. Place on
 greased cookie sheet. Bake about 12 minutes, until they
 start to brown.

 Cool and serve.

 These are alleged to be "doggie treats". They will make
 pretty decent "people treats" as well. -- UDD
