Pines, Pines, and Firs

The sky the saline sea and the plain stones in water
the anemone's heart near the pines so stubborn
walking near the sky walking so near the water
and running thirsty yet near the pines so stubborn

grasses mosses lichens and all critters
the gaze is ever lost in the firs so stubborn
the gaze that wanders near oh so many critters
the people aghast under the firs so stubborn

the sky the saline sea where there cuts through the sun
slicing-clean the heads of firs which blubber
rearing up in the sky rearing up in water

as a critter within the shadow of lichen
surrounding its travel boughs of pines stubborn
without any cares disperse a useless route
