The Proper Use of Illness

Salamander paws heating on the range
on burners bodies askance
the spices and herbs of the dead's urine
with a red-haired dog's rage dance

Seated in the shadowed wall of a ledge
but those who sacrificed their lice perchance
with still-born worth of the first fruits of grange
the illness of love ferments their feasts

A pox-green English pelisse
and a skewer of ancient cysts
which you did take from under your poor cress
the mercury gum of dark caress

Coloured in fires of a ceramist
Who does not seek for that true action
that illness which lends the airs attraction
from miniatures and fresh bread arranged

Traumbedeutung chimeras ingests
given glow with flowers of its breasts
of its down of its flesh of slits of lips
and the broken arms of doctors' weeps
