Study Your Connections
Since the old line no. 13, Saint-Lazare-Carrefour Pleyel and the old line
no. 14 Invalides-Porte de Vanaves, which were then the shortest in the entire
network, have been collected to form the current line no. 13
Chatillon-Montrouge to Genevilliers and to Saint-Denis, the whole network of
the RATP intersects with line no. 4 Orleans-Clingnancourt. This means that if
we find ourselves in one of this line's stations, we can go to any station of
any other line by changing only once. In effect, line no. 4 crosses:

Line no. 1 Neuilly-Vicennes au Chatelet,
Line no. 2 Dauphine-Nation to Barbes,
Line no. 3 Levallois-Gallieni to Reaumur,
Line no. 5 Italie-Pantin to gare de l'Est,
Line no. 6 Etoil-Nation to gare de l'Est,
Line no. 7 Ivry-Aubervilliers to Chatelet and gare de l'Est,
Line no. 8 Balard-Creteil and line no. 9 Pont de Severes-Mairie de
               Montreuil to Strasbourg-Saint-Denis,
Line no. 10 Boulogne-Austerlitz to the Odeon,
Line no. 11 Chatelet-Lilas to Chatelet,
Line no. 12 Issy-La Chapelle to Montparnasse and to Marcadet-Poissoniers,
Line no. 13 Chatillon-Saint-Denis to Montparnasse.

Furthermore, line no. 4 connects with three lines of the RER: to Chatelet
via lines A (Saint-Germain-en-Laye - Boissy-Saint-Leger) and B (Chatelet -
Saint-Remy-les-Chevereause) and to Saint Michel via line C (the least known of
them all, but truly very convenient, since it goes to Etampes and Douran a
Versailles and traverses Paris along the Seine).
However, seven stations are not directly accessible through line no. 4.
What are these stations and how could we remedy this inconvenience that I
hasten to give minor recognition, but which disfigures, regardless, the
network's harmony?
