| More blogging | |
| A little further work on the ranty blog post. | |
| Not much exciting there. | |
| However, not having ready access to seeing the post in a | |
| full CSS-enabled browser means I'm previewing it in | |
| lynx(1). I don't find it a bad experience, and it helps | |
| push me to focus on the content and semantic markup rather | |
| than the presentation (which I can touch up later after | |
| the #OldComputerChallenge) | |
| And a little old-school gaming | |
| I had a little fun playing some of the bsdgames | |
| collection: | |
| - While I enjoy playing atc(6), it's a real-time game, so I | |
| can't pause it at life's many interruptions, and thus I | |
| don't play it as often. But I got in a few rounds today. | |
| - My mother taught me how to play cribbage(6) back when I | |
| was in early elementary school, and she just spent a week | |
| last month sharpening our daughter's cribbage skills. So | |
| having it on the console not only provides a quick bit of | |
| fun, but also brings fond memories of Mom. | |
| - Similarly, my late father taught me how to play Mille | |
| Bornes[3], so while I was feeling sentimental in my gaming, I | |
| also fired up mille(6) for a few rounds. | |
