Pain and sorrow from toolchains

Since a few weeks, I'm battling against a complicated situation involving a
lethal mix of Yocto, compiler toolchains and CMake.

If I had to write is as a story, it would take at least as much time as it
takes to fix the problem.  I just hope I don't forget the incredible amount of
knowledge that I'm making out of a misbehaving system!
