I'm somewhat restive to use something without knowing
exactly what to expect out of it. I'm not saying *how
it works*, but *what to expect*.
More specifically, I don't like magic. Either I will
explore the magic object until there's no longer that
amount of magic, or I won't use that object at all.
I'm usually quite annoyed when I'm asking something to
someone who should be expert or even authoritative
about a certain topic and I receive answers such as "I
don't know".
With this I don't meant that not knowing something is
wrong (or we should be all in jail for a reason or
another!). But if that's *your* shit, you should know
your it.
As a professional software developer I had to deal with
the fact that many people exist, with different ways of
working. This includes people who can withstand magic.
Of course I have to be respectful for different point
of views, as withstanding magic does not make you an
evil person. And I gradually got to learn this
delicate form of respect, as I got more mature.
What I really cannot justify, and what still triggers
me, is the behaviour of those who are sloppy.
It does not matter if what you do is not perfect:
nobody reaches perfection, as we're all humans. Only
one was perfect, and it was nailed to a cross.
But being sloppy means you don't even try to be better,
you just accept the fact that you're working
sub-optimally, even if you know very well that you can
do the proper thing.
