This my online shed: a place to be alone and to indulge in hobbies.

In the age of social networks, complexity and noise, I like to express
myself by means of writing simple text with a simple editor.


I'm Italian, living abroad, married to a wonderful wife, father of a
little child.

I am a computer enthusiast since childhood.  As a teenager, I was
tricked into installing Slackware on my first laptop, a IBM Thinkpad.
Since then, GNU/Linux is my operating system of choice.  In the last
few years I've started to study and use FreeBSD.

I'm experienced in a bunch of things, including but not limited to C
programming, perl, shell scripting and system administration.  I spent the
first 7 years of my profsessional career doing server-side software
development.  In 2021 I started a new job as embedded system developer.

I'm a decent cook, a clumsy tai-chi practitioner, and a pursuer of
minimalism.
