Hello Dale!

Thursday April 15 2021 00:19, you wrote to me:

The use of mod as elistmaint is to allow any moderators to take over specific
echos such as any current acting moderator for any but many I suspect do not
bother with a formal moderatorship.

Hence the reason to open the idea for all as the formal list of all echos has
vanished.

Initially by temporary acting as echo controller (it is not really acting as a
moderator) it will provide a one shop stop for a listing for all available
areas in the way that BACKBONE.NA did some years ago.

I have no wish whatsoever of acting as a moderator for echo's other than the 2
or 3 I am doing so currently and even then would be happy for another to take
these over for anyone that is involved in this areas.

The elist system as is, supports other networks although it might require some
changes to support reporting to other files other than ELIST.RPT, ELIST.NA and
ELIST.NO that will relate to those networks specifically.

As of today I have not received any request to all such other networks so the
current reporting for only covers Fidonet.
