Ya, bad news is.. it's the motherboard and not the CPU.. damnnn..  Inspected a
little closer and notice a capistor or two has busted.. I don't know if i want
to grab a scrap board at my moms house, then try resoldering some
replacesments.. didn't hae any luck the last time i tried.  Hmm kinda cool to
see my board is still up on ebay going for 60+.. not sure i want to spend that
much on a new board.. Some other ones are going for 40 or so.. decisions
decisions..
