A friend of mine installed win8, then upgraded it to 8.1 - He's wishing he
hadn't given up on W7 now. I've got a copy of W7 for my laptop, but I've
yet to install it. As much as I hate using Vista, I should have put W7 on
it a long time ago. It has identical Fidonet software installed on it that
my W2K desktop had.
