UPDATE. TB was still insisting to drop ngs (usually the last
ones I would write to). Today, it failed completely - would
load - citing an error - and only offering to Quit or Restart
and send an error report to Mozilla.
That was version 68.0.7 32bit. Meanwhile, I uninstalled
that, and installed the most recent: 78.x 32bit. But the
same thing happened - it would fail to load.
Uninstalled that and installed the 64bit version. Partial
success. I was able to send a message or two, but the overall
performance was terrible and sluggish - almost using the
entire 4GB ram that I had.
The next time I went to load the program - fail, and it only
offered to Quit/Restart and send an error report.
I think TB on that particular system and its original
collection of ngs - is toast.
