The Weasel mail server, which was formerly shareware, is now re-released
as open-source freeware, governed by the GNU GPL licence. There is no
longer any distinction between registered and unregistered versions. You
can get version 2.0 from

http://www.pmoylan.org/pages/os2/Weasel.html
or
ftp://pmoylan.org/Weasel/

Source code and the IMAP extension are also available in that FTP directory.

Weasel is a mail server that can be configured as either a single-domain
server or a multidomain server. For more details, the manual is on-line
on the above web site. The Weasel program is a mature application, with
full support for the POP3 and SMTP protocols. The IMAP extension still
has some limitations.
