Is there a reason that messages downloaded via QWK (by a user and not a QWK
node) are not marked received/read so that they don't later show up in a
msg_your_scan request?

I have recently been trying to read messages on the BBS more, instead of by
QWK, and the msg_your_scan is spitting out messages that are often several
years old and long since read (hopefully!).  OTOH, the msg_new_scan seems to
honor the last read pointers and doesn't show these old messages addressed to
me.
