I got confused with FTP and HTTP in what I was reading on wiki.

Look under FTP

So as stated, FTP isn't as useful since it isn't built into browsers ; and may require another client and/or complications due to unique network configurations.

Is there a way to share a web URL when someone downloads, vs using a protocol? To facilitate a web download for large files?

I'm using webv4, I've not heard of webfileindex. So I guess I probably, do have web URLs for my files; but didn't know if there was a way to turn on that feature for downloads from the terminal server, or if it might be considered a feature to add.

Thanks.
