There's a destination port (normally 21 for FTP) and a source port (usually 1024 or higher). I think you're confusing the source port with the destination port.

Maybe look more closely at the log output.

Looks fine to me. Do you actually have a "tlqwk" account on ricksbbs? Are you able to login to it using that account and an ftp client?
