Your message (as received here over DOVE-Net) had 2 tear lines, which is a bit unusual. I thought there were measures in place (in sbbs at least) to insure that couldn't happen. Consider using "-- \n" as your signature separator instead of "---\n". Section 4.3 of https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc3676.txt
