These are likely possibilities, but one thing is for sure: He knows what a BBS is, at least somewhat. It makes me wonder if at one point he used them like a normal human.
The good thing about the other leftists was that they were capable of 2-way communication, but now they're devolving into literal parrots who are oblivious to the R button in the message reader.
