That's true.
When I was a kid I liked WWF wrestling, until my grandfather told me "That's fake; he's not even punching the guy." After he pointed that out to me, I could never be entertained by wrestling ever again.
That same type of experience can be applied to smart people who need left-to-right conversion therapy.
