       Check out your local college bookstore alot of
       the campuses have discounts.  I bought my delphi 3
       back in college for only 50$ for the full ciient/
       server version which would've been at least 500$
       back then or 400 i forget.  The only problem with
       such discounts is the company doesn't allow free
       tech support in the programs since your buying
       it cheaper.  But since I've never needed it
       it didn't bother me, but something you can look
       into.

       Also visual studio has delphi, C in it in one
       package (and VB and something else..I got
       it on the shelf but never installed it yet...
       maybe its turbo asm?)...
