DT> Dennis Collins figured out how to fix the program, and its working
DT> again properly.  Well not 100 percent, but good enough to make DOS
DT> LORD v4.08 beta happy.  Which is what is important.  The remaining
DT> glitches appear to be because Windows XP Home handles DOS ANSI
DT> emulation in a funny way.  Dennis also noticed the fact that the
DT> 3rdalt.txt entries made by my December 2005 beta of LordMenu only had
DT> the last two entries show up in LORD.  It was something about about
DT> the lack of carriage returns and line feeds I think.  He can explain
DT> the problem and how he fixed it better than I can.

       Glad to hear it.

DT> I'll post the updated program code and program beta for others to use
DT> and check out soon on my web-site.  Dennis is going to make sure that
DT> the RIP graphics menu component works properly when he has time. I've
DT> never used RIP graphics myself with LORD, or anything else, so that's
DT> a part of LordMenu I never tried to figure out.

I may miss it as only a week left before I close the BBS down.
    Good luck.

DT> Its so nice to see another Babylon 5 fan out there.  Did you hear that
DT> there is going to be a Babylon 5 movie out soon?  Only bad thing is
DT> that its going straight to DVD, and won't be in the movie theatres,
DT> and probably won't ever be on network/cable TV.

I'm sure Scifi will pick it up and air it as they did his
shows.   Yep.  I'm actually watching Jeremiah his (JMS's)
other work now.  Only first season dvds though.

DT> I appreciate all the time you and others, including Dennis Collins and
DT> Bjorn Felten, have put into analyzing the 3rdalt.txt situation for me.

Not much help from me due to time.  About to close the
BBS down on 2/1 so been busy with that. But I may eventually
logon to a board and be in fido again soon.
