Hi Rich,

Replying to a message of Rich Wonneberger to David Noon:

No, a newer OS/2 DTK is on CD #2 of the eCS install media. [I.e. it is newer
than the one supplied on the Watcom install CD.]

The [retail] Watcom compiler arrives with the OS/2 DTK 2.1, which dates from
1993. In contrast, eCS arrives with OS/2 DTK 4.52, which dates from 1999 and
targets the kernels, shells and file systems supplied with ACP and MCP.

There are some mind-numbing bugs in the 4.52 DTK, but the Warpzilla team are
intent on getting them fixed. Compiling Warpzilla from source is actually
impossible with the 4.52 DTK, and so it was compiled using the 4.51 DTK (as
supplied with WSeB).

Regards
