Once upon a time, out on MARS.
While reading the mail, wispering this:
RP> I'm going to be taking down this BBS in a couple of months. I'll be offerin
g
RP> another one from my home computer, but that runs Windows (sigh).
RP>
RP> Due to this development, I would like to find someone willing to take over
the
RP> echo rather than disappearing. I have suggested just dropping echo, but thi
s
RP> hasn't gone over in the past.
RP>
RP> So.. who would like an echo for Christmas. I'll open it for discussion.
RP> Consensus wins. Let's give it until January 5 and then I'll email the passw
ord
RP> to the winner or post a close echo message on Z1_Backbone.
Make me an offer I can't refuse... :) I run a totally DOS
based BBS and mailer, under OS/2 WARP3 fp42, on a 486dx4-100
w/32M ram, 8 CD's, and carry/hub 5 different networks. I also
moderate a few echos in the STN, and a local one, here on my
board. If you don't get any better takers.... Let me know
