Once upon a time, out on MARS.
While reading the mail, wispering this:
AG> i've got os/2 warp 3 running on a 80meg partision and this is all a
AG> FAT par.....the rest of the Hd is dos and i'm looking for a good
AG> internet connection program for this to run the dos bbs does os/2
AG> have any such virtual modem shim to allow a dos bbs access to the
AG> net....??
WS> Sure does... SIO www.gwinn.com I use 1.60d which I'm not sure is still
WS> supported... SIO2k is the latest release but I've never tried it... But SIO
WS> is the way to go...
WS> You may need HPFS though to run SIO I'm not positive about this...
NOPE! can run in a Dos partition under OS/2. I run 1.60d also,
and have a copy of SIO2K, just haven't seen the need to upgrade
it yet. If I move to Warp4, then likely so, but 1.60d runs just
fine in W3.
