Thank you for all your various comments. Library COM is being run by a library
as a project which must be justified from year to year. Since we started in
1989 I have been the sysop and have been willing to run it mostly as a hobby.

I will be moving on soon, either to a new position or retiring. It would be
hard to justify someone else learning how to run the board. Because of this, I
would like to shut the down in a graceful manner.

I'm already running the local fidonet node from my home computer and my provide
BBS services from there, but that is running on Windows 98 so the
OS2 Library BBS would be gone.

As we stand now, last his been the last fidonet BBS (and possibly the last BBS
in Reno). During that time we provided many of the patrons in the area their
first steps into the online world and helped support many of the services the
library now provides through the internet.

It's been fun and may still been fun for many years ahead, but not as a library
supported project.

Thanks
<RP>
