It's never been on here for more than a bit experimentation, and it definitely
bound things up whenever it was the third member of a party. I believe I
managed to get NETBIOS + NETWARE combo going, but peer stuff took forever to
initialize and I never spent any meaningful time playing with it simply because
I couldn't stand the interminable wait during bootup. I also think I managed
to successfully get myself out of a jam by getting a CID install going from a
shared CD in another box with NETBIOS only. So I'm no NETBIOS protocol
expert...as I've never managed to accomplish anything meaningful with it here.
Netware clients do provide netbios API support to apps that know it (I think I
have a DOS chat proggy here that uses it), but we're not talking about the same
thing as storage/printer peer sharing.
