yup, that's one way... the other is to add them to the "master" DOS task... the
"master" DOS task being the default one created when OS/2 is/was installed...

OMG! why didn't you ask?? i've several items like that that i load that way...
did you know that you can also "load them high" in the individual sessions
icons??
i'll also note that the help for that item states...
DESCRIPTION
Use this setting to load DOS device
drivers into this session. Enter full
name and path, excluding DEVICE=.
Alternatively, specify DOS devices in
CONFIG.SYS with DEVICE= to load into
all DOS sessions.
seems that that last line is what you just discovered ;)
