Hi Sean,

PK> What method are you using for terminating the call? By far the best
PK> method is to drop DTR rather than rely on a modem control string
PK> (+++ATH0). However the catch with this is that your S/W must be

SD> Well, this is for VMODEM.  Here's my settings:

SD> A. Modem description    Node 2
SD> B. Communication port   COM2
SD> C. Port information     IRQ 2, Base I/O address 2F8
SD> D. Maximum BPS rate     57600 bps
SD> E. Locked BPS rate      Locked at 57600 bps
SD> F. Init command         "~~~~~~ATZ"
SD> G. Answer command       "ATA"
SD> H. Hangup command       "~~~ATH0"

Try adding a delay AFTER the Hangup (ATH0), whatever your comms program is
talking to the port, it may be trying to re-active the port too quick for
VMODEM to react/respond...

SD> I. Offhook command      "ATM0H1"

SD> J. Flow control type    XON/XOFF (sw)
SD> K. Re-init timing       255 mins
SD> L. Command delay        0.5 secs
SD> M. Answer delay         0.5 secs
SD> N. DTR drop delay       0.5 secs

Try increasing this to 1-2 seconds and see if that helps. Sometimes speed
kills.......;-)

SD> O. Hangup w/DTR toggle   No

And try setting this to Yes and see how it goes...

SD> P. Fossil in OS shell    Active
SD> R. Answer after ring     1
SD> S. Ring counter reset    N/A

Cheers............pk.
